Naturally effective ingredients
This formula provides organic seaweed based calcium, plant based vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 from chickpeas.
Seaweed calcium is complete in a marine multimineral complex providing bioactive calcium with 72 other trace minerals. The calcium is derived from Atlantic algae, which naturally absorbs trace minerals from the surrounding seawater. Those minerals calcify to a skeletal structure and mature material settles separately from young and live material on the seabed, where it is harvested sustainably.
One of the best sources of K2 is found in an ancient Japanese food called nattō, that's why our Vitamin K2 is formulated using chickpeas fermented with Bacillus subtilis natto. Our Vitamin K2 provides you with a highly biologically active form of vitamin K2 that is 10 times more efficiently absorbed than vitamin K1 from spinach.
Our plant based Vitamin D3 is produced from lichen. It's a small and unique organic species that contains one of the only plant-based source of the body's preferred active form of vitamin D3.

How these 3 nutrients work together
Calcium is absorbed into the bloodstream, so it needs help from vitamin D and K2 to reach the bones. First, vitamin D promotes the production of a special protein, Vitamin K2 then activates this protein which inhibits deposits of calcium on the walls of our blood vessels.
This benefits us in 2 ways: it prevents calcification of our arteries and allows the calcium to get to where we need it - our bones!

Fermented
The chickpeas are fermented turning them into the traditional Japanese Natto food. |
Separation
The Natto is then spun in a centrifuge to separate a clear fermented liquid from the chickpeas. |
Extracted
This liquid goes through an extraction process to obtain the vitamin K2 using ethanol. |
Drying
The K2 is powdered using a gentle vacuum drying process ready for encapsulation. |
