Why screens damage our eyes
Throughout the day our eyes essentially store up the energy they absorb from screens and then release this energy at night (through a compound in retinal called A2E). Unfortunately, this results in oxidative damage to the delicate tissue in our eyes. Day after day, the effects of this process accumulate, damaging our eyesight over time.

Our eyes require macular carotenoids to protect themselves from this artificial light. Research shows that carotenoids lutein, zeaxanthin and astaxanthin are found at the back of the eye where they form the macular pigment. There is also a concentration of Meso-zeaxanthin at the centre of this pigment.
Together’s Eye Defence contains these three powerful carotenoids along with beta-carotene which is converted to vitamin A in the body. Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal vision.

Tested
The oil is tested for any heavy metal residue and sent back for further removal if the oil fails this step. |
Micro-Encapsulated
The oil is then micro-encapsulated using only pea protein. |

Our Vegecaps
Our vegecaps are made of plant cellulose made from the Pinus Elliottii tree.
These two piece capsules can be separated and the nutrient rich contents mixed with food or drink for those who can't take capsules.
